Simplicity Pattern 4762
Ok, so I purchased this pattern for one main reason: the ties. I want to make my own ties!
For men in my life, not so much. For myself, yes! I have thought a few times that a tie would pull my outfit together, but I didn't have one. So I wanted a nice tie pattern to use up some of my fancy remnants.
The second reason I wanted this was for the vests. I am currently making a jacket into a vest, but I didn't really know where to begin, so I wanted this pattern to kind of guide my way through my jacket make-over. Plus, a vest and tie look just darling on certain outfits. Very menswear chic... Very Katharine Hepburn...
